FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: method includes supplying a powder of metal fuel to the combustion chamber, igniting it and burning it in a stream of air from the air inlet. The powder in the form of a uniformly mixed suspension in a liquefied fuel gas placed in a fuel tank is preloaded with a displacement pressure, heated and supplied to the combustion chamber through a nozzle. The maximum diameter of the powder particles, the extrusion pressure and the heating temperature of the slurry are determined from the protected ratios.
EFFECT: increased power characteristics and reliability of the direct-flow air-jet engine.
