FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: in the design of a debugging device which uses a part of the memory of an external tool computer for storing the program of the target debugged microprocessor system and which includes an interface of the LPT-port of the printer for transferring programs and data to the debugging microprocessor system via a tristable eight-bit buffer bus driver, and also a synchronizing device, which is a bistable RS trigger with short pulse generators connected to its inputs, according to the invention, depending on the bit depth of the N microprocessor of the debugging system, N/8 eight-bit latch registers with a tristable output are added, the inputs of which are combined digitally and connected via a tristable eight-bit buffer bus driver to the data lines of the printer interface, respectively, and the outputs are connected to multipin plugs via ROM socket of the debugging device with its data bus, and also a binary counter and a decoding device forming a strobing demultiplexer-signal distributor directing each following confirmation signal of the truthfulness of the issued instrument computer data on a record input of the corresponding latch register. In addition, introduced nodes of generating signals of busyness and confirmation of the byte data reception allow the device to communicate with the instrument computer via a printer port using the 'Centronics' interface standard.

EFFECT: increasing the productivity and reducing the labour intensity of the process of debugging digital microprocessor systems and devices.
