SUBSTANCE: retaining member for retaining brick of a heat shield on a bearing structure with at least one fastening section that can be fastened on the bearing structure and at least one retaining section with a retaining head configured to engage the engaging device present on the brick of the heat shield. The fastening section, with the fastening section fixed to the bearing structure and the retaining section engaged with the heat shield brick, comprises one upper side facing the cold side of the heat shield brick. In the fastening section, at least one cooling air passage is located, which comprises one inlet opening and at least one outlet opening located in the side surface and/or on the upper side of the fastening section.
