FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: overshot type tool for releasable connection to the head arrangement as a part of a core drill device with removable core sampler. The tool comprises a main engaging portion and auxiliary engaging portion, and adapted to be automatically coupled and detached from the head assembly by selected engagement of the head assembly with engaging portion. The overshot type tool is designed to deliver and remove the head assembly from the well from the fixed position on the cutting end of the core equipment.
EFFECT: creation of a unified set of tools.
