SUBSTANCE: multi-stage self-suction centrifugal pump unit with at least two pump stages (4) following in series in the main flow direction (32) and a reverse flow path (13) arranged in parallel in at least one pump stage (4). The reverse flow channel (13) in the main flow direction (32) ends behind the guide vane (10a) of the first or next pump stage (4).
EFFECT: improvement of the pump self-suction process by shortening the time for its implementation and excluding the swirl of the return fluid.
