SUBSTANCE: opening box (100) for food products comprises of a bottom (3), a front wall (2) and a rear wall (8) connected to the bottom (3). The front wall (2) comprises two first side walls (19) and the first bottom wall (21). The rear wall (8) comprises of two second side walls (20) and the second bottom wall (22). The first side walls (19) are at least partly imposed on the second side walls (20) when the box is closed, and/or the first bottom wall (21) is at least partially imposed on the second bottom wall (22) when the box is closed. The box contains a tear strip (18) extending around the box (100). When the tear tape (18) is detached, tabs are formed to hold the food product. After detachment of the tear tape (18), a part of the box (100) forms a holder for the food product.

EFFECT: ease of use of packaging and hygiene.
