FIELD: ventilation.
SUBSTANCE: at each end of chamber (1), two fans are provided for injecting the circulating flow therein so that the flow from the outlet of each fan is directed to the inlet of the corresponding other fan, one heater is located at the outlet of each fan. The method for sterilizing the web comprises passing the web through a bath with a sterilant and then through a sterilisation chamber, injecting a gas stream into the interior of the chamber with a fan, heating the air leaving from the fan outlet with the heater and flowing from the fan outlet to the web and towards the inlet of another fan.
