FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: utilisation of ash from coal-fired power plant provides the solution of the urgent task of its complex use in the construction industry when obtaining relatively inexpensive and high-quality products in the form of ash ceramic stones and bricks. The batch for obtaining ash clay brick, containing clay and fuel ash, according to the invention includes clay montmorillonite and fuel ash of coal-fired power plant, purified from admixture of carbon and iron oxides to 2-4 wt %, with the following component ratio, by wt %: fuel ashes of coal-fired power plants, purified from the admixture of carbon and iron oxides 45-55; clay montmorillonite - the rest.
EFFECT: increasing the strength and reducing the moisture permeability of clay bricks, obtained from batch based on cheap raw materials in the form of clay and fuel ash from coal-fired power plants.
