FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: transport system is designed to provide the possibility of transferring vessels through dams of hydropower facilities, weirs and terrain sections between different water basins. A launching trolley 2 with a self-propelled vessel transportation water-filled chamber 3 is lowered into water. A vessel 4 enters the chamber 3, and its shutter closes. The launching trolley 2 with the vessel transportation chamber 3 and the vessel 4 rises to the level of the horizontal slip 5. The vessel transportation chamber 3 with the vessel 4 is moved to the horizontal slip 5, and moves on it to the launching trolley 2 on the other side of the obstacle to be overcome, enters it, after which this launching trolley 2 descends downward along vessel transportation paths 1 to a level sufficient for the vessel 4 to come out of it into the open water area. In the presence of a horizontal vessel transportation path 6, the vessel transportation chamber 3 with the vessel 4 from the launching trolley 2 is moved to a self-propelled transport trolley 7, which moves it to the other end of the horizontal vessel transportation path 6. If there is a curvilinear section 10 on the horizontal vessel transportation path 6, the vessel transportation chamber 3 with the vessel 4 from the self-propelled transport trolley 7 is moved to an additional self-propelled transport trolley 11, on which it moves to the end of the curvilinear section 10, where it moves to the launching trolley 8 and descends to the level sufficient for the vessel 4 to come out of it to the open water area.

EFFECT: simplifying the design of the vessel transportation system and expanding its functional capabilities.
