FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: sampling harmful impurity aerosol is carried out by the implementation of intermittent suction through a filter of one of the sampling devices in a control point, simulating the aerodynamic flow about the human head, close to the human breath. Quantitative estimation of harmful impurity in air, inhaled by the human, is achieved through air filtration with a duration of continuous filtration of 2.5 sec and pauses of 3.0 sec through the sampling tube with the inlet diameter of 1 cm, fixed on the lateral surface of the cylinder with a diameter and height of 10 cm, with a minute volume of aspirated air of 3.85 l/min. The quantity of harmful impurities mh, getting into the respiratory system of the human, doing the work of moderately severe physical activity, for the aerosol with an aerodynamic diameter of particles from 3.5 up to 80.0 mcm and an air-flow velocity of 1 up to 4 m/s, determined by the following formula: mh = 6.9 mf, where mf is the mass of harmful impurities in the sampler filter, mg; 6.9 is the coefficient, determined from the minute volume of the human breath doing the work of moderately severe physical activity, and minute volume of the air, aspirated through the air sampler, taking into account the average ratio of the human aspiration to the sampler aspiration ratio.

EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of determining the quantity of harmful impurities in the air from the result of analyzing a sample of one sampling device.
