FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: floor panel on at least one pair of opposite edges comprises connecting parts allowing two such panels to be connected by means of lowering one floor panel with respect to the other panel. These connecting parts allow locking in the first direction (V), perpendicular to the panel plane, as well as in the second direction (h) perpendicular to the same edge, and in the floor panel plane. At least one of said edges has a longitudinal recess beneath the upper surface with a locking element. The shape and/or arrangement of the recess and/or the configuration of the connecting parts are such that deformations are eliminated.
EFFECT: improving the operational properties of the floor.
