FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of producing uranium concentrates from nitrate-sulfate strippant resulting from desorption of uranium from saturated anion exchange acidified by the solutions of ammonium nitrate, is the deposition of the concentrate by one-stage neutralisation treatment of strippant with ammonia at a constant pH value of 6.7 to 7.5. The supply of ammonia and strippant is carried out simultaneously and continuously in a reactor with a previously prepared aqueous ammonia solution with a predetermined pH of 6.7-7.5.
EFFECT: decreasing the amount of sulfur in the uranium concentrate to values meeting the requirements of international standard ASTM C 967-08, and a reduction in the number of technological operations.
