SUBSTANCE: method for initiating a program call comprises the following stages: visually representing a list of mappings of a speech fragment pair into a program call; receiving an audio signal on the computing device; determining by means of the computational device whether the audio signal corresponds to a predetermined mapping between the speech fragment and the program call of the application running on the computing device in the list of mappings of the speech fragment pair to the program call; and initiating the program call only in response to the audio signal corresponding to the program call. The initiated program call at least activates and/or deactivates at least one of the mode or tool of the running application.

EFFECT: simplification and acceleration of finding a mode, a tool of interest to the user during its operation by initiating a program call only in response to an audio signal corresponding to a program call.
