FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: welding head contains a conductive rod 1 with a current collector tip 2, a guide 3 for welding wire and a fluxing tube 4 with a nozzle 5 and with an airflow regulator 6 on one side and an intake funnel 7 on the other side. An air duct 8 is connected to the upper part of the intake funnel 7 to divert the air flow, transporting flux, from the welding zone. End parts of the conductive rod 1 are bent in an inversed manner in opposite directions. The radii of both bends shall be not less than 40 mm, and their total angular arc circle does not exceed 160°. In this case, the guide 3 for the welding wire is made in the form of a spiral wrap laid in a longitudinal groove 9 of the conductive rod 1 and fixed therein with a key 10 and clamps 11, and the ends of the spiral wrap are inserted into the holes 12 formed in the end parts of the conductive rod 1.

EFFECT: application of the invention allows for welding and surfacing in hard-to-reach places with high quality.
