SUBSTANCE: invention relates to check processing devices. Method comprises: obtaining an electronic check; determining identifier of the portable device corresponding to said electronic check; and transmitting said electronic check and the identifier of the corresponding portable device to the server, which then saves this electronic check in the user account corresponding to the said identifier of the portable device. Storage of electronic check in a user account eliminates the need for a paper check, which contributes to saving paper resources. In this case, storage of the electronic check in conjunction with the user account corresponding to the identifier of the portable device, using this portable device as a transmission medium, is easily implemented and improves the user experience.

EFFECT: technical result consists in the expansion of the possibility to use portable device.
