FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the clay hydration inhibitors used in the composition of the water-based drilling mud (clay and non-clay, fresh and mineral) for the construction of an inclined, primarily with an angle of more than 70°, and horizontal wells in the intervals of unstable terrigenous sediments. Complex clay hydration inhibitor for drilling mud includes, vol %: emulsifier of direct emulsions - oxyethylated alcohols and/or alkyl phenols 2.3-3.3; hydrocarbon phase 62.9-78.1; bitumen emulsion modified by the method of sulfonation 7.8-12.6; saturated aqueous solution of potassium salt (per dry substance) 11.7-21.2, wherein the volume ratio of the specified bitumen emulsion to the hydrocarbon phase is 1:(5-10), respectively.
EFFECT: providing the universality of the inhibitor due to the possibility of using it for all types of drilling water-based muds, while improving the inhibitory, muddy, lubricant peculiarities, and stability of the latter, giving the possibility of using treated drilling muds for drilling wells.
