SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to disinsection. Method for fighting flies involves the treatment of livestock premises with an insecticidal compound. Compound contains a combination of active ingredients. Fipronil and acetamiprid are used as active ingredients. As a food attractant, sucrose or glucose is used. As a pheromone, ticosene is used. As a thickener, cold swelling modified potato starch is used. For the treatment of premises, the insecticide compound is mixed with cold water in a ratio of 1:3 until it thickens. Compound is applied in places of flies accumulation at the rate of 250 ml of the ready mixture per 1 m². Compound is applied by brush or roller on the surface of the room or on base boards.

EFFECT: invention provides a long-lasting, irreversible insecticidal effect; the chemical load on livestock and poultry premises is reduced; the ease of use and disposal of insecticide residues is ensured.
