FIELD: veterinary.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to veterinary and is intended for the treatment and prevention of gastrointestinal diseases of newborn calves obtained from infected and sick with enzootic leukemia cows. Medicinal composition is used, containing, by weight,per 100 ml of physiological saline: ASD-2 fraction – 1.4 % solution of gentamicin sulfate – 5, furazolidone powder – 0.1, saline solution – the rest. Drug is administered once for 30 minutes before the first colostrum rearing or twice a day, in the morning and in the evening, 30 minutes before the colostrum rearing, until the cease of dyspeptic manifestations in calves for 3–5 days.
EFFECT: group of inventions allows to provide preventive measures and to increase treatment efficacy.
