FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering. For this purpose, magnetic amplifier is proposed that includes closed magnetic circuit with working winding and source for its bias. It is new in magnetic amplifier that execution of a source of high voltage for closed magnetic circuit bias in the form of one or more permanent magnets or electromagnets, each of which is fixed by one pole on yoke of the U-shaped magnetic core between its cores, while its second pole and its corresponding poles of U-shaped magnetic circuit cores are placed on closed magnetic circuit along its magnetic line, while on the cores of the U-shaped magnetic circuit windings are placed, and the pole of a permanent magnet or electromagnet, mounted on the yoke of the U-shaped magnetic circuit, preferably located on it from the side of its end or outer surface, and its second pole on closed magnetic circuit, is placed on it on one of its end or side surfaces parallel to end faces of U-shaped magnetic circuit.
EFFECT: technical result is possible using of magnetic amplifier as electric generator.
