FIELD: rocket technics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of rocket technology, namely, to the bench equipment used in fire test bench of solid-propellant rocket engines (RDTT), and is designed to extinguish solid-propellant rocket propellant during surface mining, including extended RTDTs of complex hull configuration. Apparatus for rocket engine dampening of solid fuel during tests comprises hollow rod with injector connected to coolant supply system by telescopically articulated hollow pistons with manifolds, nozzles and radial channels at bottom of pistons. On hollow piston located in advanced position behind rocket engine nozzle of solid fuel, the impeller is coaxially fixed, and joint of hollow piston with the adjacent hollow piston, closer to the coolant supply system, is provided with rotatable gap under axial torque impact of impeller generated on impeller as it flows through the steam of cooling liquid during quenching.
EFFECT: invention makes possible providing effective damping of solid propellant and obtaining reliable information on the state of material part, including extended RTDTs of hull complex configuration.
