SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a crumb of a block copolymer and to a pressure sensitive adhesive composition, in which such a crumb is used. Invention relates to a crumb of a block copolymer, wherein the copolymer comprises at least one polymer block, containing a vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon monomer unit as a main component, and at least one polymer block, containing a monomer unit of a conjugated diene compound as a main component; and has a weight-average molecular weight of from 20000 to 1000000; crumb satisfies the requirements (a)-(c): (a) specific surface area is 0.000001 m²/g or more and less than 0.3 m²/g; (b) total pore volume for the pores, having a pore radius of 1 to 100 μm, is 0.05 ml/g or more and less than 1.0 mg/g; and (c) an average pore radius of 0.00001 μm or greater and 1.5 μm or less.

EFFECT: technical result is that crumb is convenient in terms of suitability for transportation and when used in a pressure sensitive adhesive composition it is capable of leading to good solubility, low melt viscosity property, to a mild odor and a good balance between properties.
