FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to armrests of vehicles mounted on the door units and on the side panels in the cab area. Armrest comprises an inner base with a deforming element, an outer base, a fabric element, a cover member and a supporting member. Deforming element extends toward the outer base of the armrest. Moreover, between the inner and outer bases and the deforming element, an opening is formed that extends along the length of the inner and outer bases of the armrest. Fabric element passes continuously through the opening and is attached to the inner and outer bases. Cover member extends over the fabric member and is supported by the fabric member in the vertical direction. Support member is substantially parallel to the inner and outer bases and is free from engagement with the inner and outer bases. Support element is located above the fabric element and supports the cover member from the bottom in a vertical direction.
EFFECT: increase in safety is achieved.
