FIELD: seismic measurements.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to seismic measurements and can be used to seismic energy injections during geological exploration. Non-explosive magnetic-impulse seismic vibrator contains mounted on hard baseplate-antenna (1) cylindrical hollow prop (2) with coaxially located swamp weight on it (3), which can be moved up and down. On baseplate-antenna (1) and lower surface of swamp weight (3), two drive coils (4, 5) are placed one above the other and are installed oppositely with respect to each other. Above hollow prop (2), through pins (6) screwed at one end in swamp weight (3) set a plate (7). Inside the hollow prop (2) there is a damper (8), body (9) of which is fixed in the prop (2) by means of a cover (10) rigidly connected to the prop (2). In this case, bunch (8) of damper (11) is fixed on the plate (7). In the cover (10), holes are made through which the pins (6) pass. Damper (8) is designed to freely extend bunch (11) from the body (9) and deffered (throttled down) return to starting position. Drive coils (4, 5) are connected to a control unit (12) made to rapidly discharge the storage capacitor included therein.

EFFECT: increase seismic efficiency of source.
