SUBSTANCE: group of inventions describes the use of recombinant Ganoderma lucidum immunomodulatory protein (rLZ-8) in the preparation of a medicine for treating melanomas. On experimental models of orthotopic tumours and metastatic tumours in animals, the antitumor effect of rLZ-8 is investigated, which showed that rLZ-8 significantly inhibits the growth of orthotopic melanoma tumours and the formation of melanoma metastases. Also disclosed is a method of treating melanoma in a subject.
EFFECT: group of inventions widens the range of therapeutic agents.
