FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: ultrasonic flowmeter with a metal sensor comprising of an electronic unit and a metal sensor including a measuring section in the form of a pipeline section with a flow part having a square cross section for pipelines of a diameter less than 30 mm and a circular cross-section for pipelines with a diameter greater than 30 mm, and an acoustic noise absorber on the surface of the measuring section, at the opposite ends of which two rectangular electroacoustic transducers are mounted in a transverse recess in the wall material of the flow part, parallel to each other with the same angles of inclination to the longitudinal axis connected to the switch, series-connected synchronizer and probing signal generator, the output of which is connected to the input of the switch through one time discriminator in each measuring channel along and against the stream, the input of which is connected to the switch output. The flowmeter is equipped with a reverberation acoustic noise absorber in the form of a two-layer periodic acute-angled comb structure, with a calculator of the difference of inversions from the measured time intervals, along and against the stream, two inputs of which are connected to the outputs of two time discriminators along and against the stream. An ultrasonic flowmeter with a metal sensor is characterized in that one second additional time discriminator is introduced to each measuring channel, along and against the stream. The discriminator input is connected to the output of the switch. One calculator of the difference between time intervals with two inputs is also introduced. Its first input is connected to the output of the first time discriminator, and the second input is connected to the output of the second time discriminator. The outputs of the calculators of each channel are connected to the two inputs of the calculator of the inversion difference based on the difference between time intervals in each channel.

EFFECT: increase of measurement accuracy in a wide range of temperature, pressure and other parameters of the controlled environment.
