FIELD: optics.
SUBSTANCE: catadioptric telescope can be used to detect and catalog space objects in the 400–850 nm spectral range. Catadioptric telescope contains main concave spherical mirror 1, correcting element 2 and the lens compensator of off-axis aberrations 3, which consists of afocal 3(1) and power 3(2) parts installed in front of the focal plane of the telescope. Afocal part 3(1) is made in the form of a quasi-afocal meniscus, which is turned by the concavity to the image plane. Power section 3(2) is made of six single lenses with alternation of the optical powers along the path of the ray, respectively -/+/-/+/+/-. All the lenses are made of glasses with close relative values of relative partial dispersion. Negative lenses are made of glass with a refractive index ne≤1.525.
EFFECT: providing an effective opening of 1 m, equivalent to a relative opening of 1:3, angular field of 2° with an 80 % concentration of the light energy of the point object at the center of the field in the pixel of the CCD.
