FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, in particular to cooling the rotor of an electrical machine. Electric machine comprises a rotor cooled by means of cooling gas, and a stator surrounding this rotor, which has several stacks of a laminated core. Separate stacks of the laminated core are arranged in series in the axial direction parallel to the axis of rotation of the rotor, and separated from each other by flow channels which are open on the rotor side for supply to the rotor of cooling gas. At least one channel sheet is provided which defines a separate stack of the laminated core from the flow channel and has an end portion facing the rotor, deflecting flow of cooling gas passing through the flow channel from a radial direction that indicates to the axis of rotation.
EFFECT: technical result is improvement of cooling of the rotor.
