FIELD: computer engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automation and computer engineering and can be used in the development of highly reliable devices and systems using majority redundancy. In the controlled majority element "three out of five", comprising a five-way majority element (ME) consisting of two-input AND and OR elements, and a ME control circuit, consisting of one five-way NAND element, one three-input AND element and one two-input OR element, additionally includes a blocking circuit. Blocking circuit consists of a decoder, five four-input AND elements and five two-input AND elements, wherein the inputs of the four-input AND elements are connected to the outputs of the decoder, every two inputs of two-input AND elements of the blocking circuit are connected to one of the input information signals and one of the outputs of the four-input AND elements, and the outputs of the two-input AND elements of the blocking circuit are connected to the ME.
EFFECT: technical result is wider range of products.
