SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, namely to coatings for the protection of seeds of agricultural crops. Seed treatment method comprises (a) coating alginate containing one or more plant protection products selected from the group consisting of chlorfenvinphos, dichlorvos/DDVP, dicrotophos, mevinphos, monocrotophos, oxymethoate, oxydemethon-methyl, phosphamidon, tetrachlorvinphos, trichlorophone, etiprol, fipronil, pyrafluprol and pyriprole, acetamiprid, clotianidin, dinotefuran, imidacloprid, nitenepiracylopride, thiamethoxam, spinosad, spinertram, abamectin, emamectin benzoate, ivermectin, lepemectin, milbemectin, hydroprene, kinoprene, methoprene, pyriproxyphene, pymetrozine, flonikid, pyrifluquinazone, clofentesin, hexitiazox, ethoxazole, diapenthiuron, fenbutatinohid, propargite, chlorfenapyr, bensultap, cardphydrochloride, thiocyclam and thiosultap sodium, bistrifluron, diflubenzuron, flufenoxuron, hexaflumuron, lufenuron, novaluron, teflubenzuron, buprofezin, ciromazine, methoxyphenozide, tebufenozid, galofenozid, chromaphenozide, amitraz, pyridaben, tebufenpyrad, tolfenpyrad, flufenerim, cyenopyrafen, cyflumetofen, hydramethylnon, acechinocil, fluacrypyrim, indoxacarb, metaflumizone, spirodiclofen, spiromesifen, spirotetramate, flubendiamide, (R)-3-chloro-N1-{2-methyl-4-[1,2,2,2-tetrafluoro-1-(trifluoromethyl)ethyl]phenyl}-N2-(1-methyl-2-methylsulfonylethyl)phthalamide and (S)-3-chloro-N1-{2-methyl-4-[1,2,2,2-tetrafluoro-1-(trifluoromethyl)ethyl]phenyl}-N2-(1-methyl-2-methylsulfonylethyl)phthalamide, chlorantraniliprol, cyanantraniliprole, azadirachtin, amidoflumet, bifenazate, fluensulfone, piperonyl butoxide, pyridyl, sulfoxaflor, akrinatin, allethrin, bifenthrin, cyfluthrin, lambda-cyhalothrin, cypermethrin, alpha-cypermethrin, beta-cypermethrin, zeta-cypermethrin, deltamethrin, esfenvalerate, ethofenprox, fenpropathrin, fenvalerate, flucitrinate, tau-fluvalinate, permethrin, silaflufen, tefluthrin, tralomethrin, and (b) cross-linking the alginate with a divalent metal ion.
EFFECT: proposed method of seed treatment provides long-term effect of protective and nutritional action.
