FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, namely, the production of structural foundry and deformable by microalloy nitrogen austenitic heat-resistant cryogenic steels, which are intended for various industries, including for the manufacture of light components and structures in transport engineering, cryogenic equipment and for operation under the Arctic conditions. Steel contains, mass %: C: 0.15–0.20; Mn: 22–24; Ni: 4–6; Al: 4–6; N: 0.015–0.020; B: 0.004–0.008; Si: 0.6–0.8; Cr < 0,1; Cu < 0.05; H < 0.0002; S < 0.0020; P < 0.015; Sn, Pb, Bi, As not more than 0.005 of each; Fe – the rest.
EFFECT: steel has a stable austenitic structure in the temperature range from minus 100 to plus 100°C and high strength and ductility.
