SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a device for removing liquids from deformable containers, and in particular plastics containers (10), having first holding device (2), which is suitable for holding first section (10a) of container (10), having second holding device (4), which is suitable for holding second section (10b) of container (10), wherein second section (10b) of container (10) is arranged at a distance from first section (10a) of container (10), and wherein holding devices (2, 4) are arranged such that container (10) is at least sectionally arrangeable between these holding devices (2, 4) and thus is deformable by a relative movement of one holding device (2) with respect to the other holding device (4), and having a drive device for producing a relative movement between first holding device (2) and second holding device (4), in order in this way to deform container (10) arranged between these holding devices (2, 4) in such a way that the internal volume thereof is reduced, and having removal device (30), which has a flow connection to the interior of container (10) and via which the liquid is removable as a result of the compression of container (10).

EFFECT: according to the invention, surfaces (2a, 4a), directed towards one another, of first holding device (2) and second holding device (4) are at least sectionally coordinated with one another, such that a volume between these holding devices (2, 4) is minimisable when holding devices (2, 4) are advanced towards one another.
