FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, specifically a thermally treated steel sheet, used for the manufacture of car parts, suppressing plastic deformation during collisions. Sheet has the following chemical composition, wt%: C: 0.16-0.38; Mn: 0.6-1.5; Cr: 0.4-2.0; Ti: 0.01-0.10; B: 0.001-0.010; Si: 0.20 or less; P: 0.05 or less; S: 0.05 or less; N: 0.01 or less; Ni: 0-2.0; Cu: 0-1.0; Mo: 0-1.0; V: 0-1.0; Al: 0-1.0; Nb: 0-1.0; REM: 0-0.1; balance is Fe and impurities. Microstructure of the sheet contains 1.5% by volume or less of residual austenite and balance is martensite.
EFFECT: high resistance of car parts in collisions.
