FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to a mixture of fertilisers and methods of using a mixture of fertilisers for growing crops. Fertiliser application method includes applying a fertiliser mixture to crops at a rate of about 0.5 to 25 gallons per acre (1.9-94.6 litres per 0.4 ha), the fertiliser mixture comprising: about 0.1 to 10% nitrogen-containing material measured as elemental nitrogen; about 0.1 to 40% phosphorus-containing material measured as content of P2O5, about 0.1 to 30% potassium-containing material measured as content of K2O; about 0.1 to 1% of trace elements; and from about 1 ppm to 5 ppm of plant growth regulator. Fertiliser application method includes applying a fertiliser mixture to crops, in an amount of about 0.5 to 25 gallons per acre (1.9-94.6 litres per 0.4 ha), the fertiliser mixture comprising: about 0.1 to 1% of trace elements, and from about 1 ppm to 5 ppm plant growth regulator; wherein the fertiliser mixture does not contain nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium.
EFFECT: inventions enable the plant to improve its ability to extract water from the lower soil layers together with nutrients.
