SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of silicates, in particular to glaze compositions that can be used to coat a facing tile. Glaze, which includes SiO₂, Al₂O₃, CaO, MgO, Na₂O, K₂O, B₂O₃, ZnO, additionally contains SnO₂, SeO₂ and BeO, in following ratio of components, mass %: SiO₂ 49.0–51.0; Al₂O₃ 4.5–5.0; CaO 3.0, or 3.5, or 4.0; MgO 0.2–0.4; Na₂O 6.5–7.5; K₂O 0.8–1.8; B₂O₃ 9.0–13.3; ZnO 4.0–6.0; SnQ₂ 10.0, or 10.5, or 11.0; SeQ₂ 1.0–2.0; BeO 4.0–6.0.

EFFECT: high heat resistance of glaze.
