FIELD: rail vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: solebar of the truck of the rail freight car includes a horizontal arch bar interfaced with consoles forming pedestal openings, a lower horizontal member with a top shelf connected to the arch bar by means of vertical columns and diagonal tension members. Each diagonal tension member of variable cross-section is made of two vertical walls connected by a transverse angled wall. Transverse angled wall in the upper part is smoothly interfaced with the lower shelf of the horizontal section of the pedestal opening, and in the lower part - with the upper shelf of the lower member. Technological overlaps are made at the junctions of the transverse angled wall with the upper shelf of the lower member and with the lower shelf of the horizontal section of the pedestal opening.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability of the solebar is achieved.
