SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of life-saving on water appliances and can be used as the flight crews standard equipment under conditions of emergency water landing. Individual rescue device for the pilot supporting afloat during the water landing contains gas-filled elastic floatation device made in the form of two inflatable horseshoe shaped balloons attached to the pilot's flying suit, placed in the flying suit underarm space gas filling system. Floatation device is made in the form of torus with bottom, hermetically connected to the flying suit trousers through the two holes. In the initial (deflated) state, the floatation device is made in the form of balloon and is placed on the waist part by the locks in the form of bag onto the flying suit waist part. On the made in the form of torus floatation device surface, the heat-insulating tent-cape and automatic tension strap are fixed.

EFFECT: enabling creation of comfortable conditions and the pilot survivability under conditions of emergency water landing and subsequent long stay in the water.
