FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the mining industry, in particular to development of flooded placer accumulation and industrial segregations of mineral raw materials in conditions of longstanding subfreezing temperature. Method for development of flooded placer accumulations of mineral deposits, including preparatory and mining operations, enrichment and pilling, damming around digger and prepared for winter workover, in which, at onset of stable subfreezing temperatures, work is conducted in hangar installed on jetty. At onset of stable subfreezing temperatures, water surface in hangar, around digger, is covered with air-bubble film with observance of clearance from sides of digger.
EFFECT: technical result is decrease in the intensity of heat release from water surface in cross section and direction of heat flow directly to digger.
