FIELD: refrigerating equipment.

SUBSTANCE: refrigerating apparatus comprises a storage chamber bounded by a housing and a door. Storage chamber is divided into upper and lower compartments by a shelf. In the lower compartment there is a drawer. In the retracted stop position of the drawer of the lower compartment, the front wall of the drawer is adjacent to the leading edge of the shelf. Locking element in the shelf aperture is movable between a position in which the aperture is locked and a position in which at least a portion of the aperture cross section is released.

EFFECT: use of the present invention allows controlling humidity in the refrigerator and provides simplified design of the control device.
