FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of dye technology, in particular to the creation of solid forms of preparations of vat and indigo dyes for dyeing textile materials. Proposed preparation contains a dye in unreduced form, sodium dithionite as a reducing agent and sodium or potassium hydroxide as an alkaline agent at ratios of components (wt%) – sodium dithionite 23.2–36.4; sodium (or potassium) hydroxide – 25.9–44.9; dye – balance.
EFFECT: proposed product, being stable without the use of special protective measures, is a commodity form convenient for storage and transportation and at the same time maximally prepared for carrying out the dyeing process.
