SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of underwater shipbuilding, in particular to methods and control systems for the differentiation of towed underwater objects. Method for controlling the depth of towed underwater object 1 with flexible connection fastening assembly 3 in the upper part of an underwater object, consisting in the fact that to align the position of the underwater object in the bow of the towed underwater object, shaft 2 with a given area with the possibility of changing the angular velocity of rotation, depending on the speed of towing, while in the submerged state, compensation is made for changes in the tuning moment when the towing speed is changed with the help of hydrodynamic forces, arising during the flow around rotating shaft 2 and directed perpendicularly to the flow of liquid, which are directed to the side opposite to the direction of the pitching moment, and the angular velocity of rotation of the shaft is changed in accordance with the change in towing speed.
EFFECT: technical result is improved manageability of the differential in a wide range of speeds.
