SUBSTANCE: method of storage of paper tube in storage unit (2) has the following steps: providing storage unit with input section for tubes (2), accumulation circuit (AC) comprising a plurality of storage planes (13), output section for tubes (2), transfer means (3) for transferring tubes (2) from the input section to accumulation circuit, and an unloading means for transporting tubes (2) from the accumulation circuit to the output section; providing a plurality of paper tubes (2) to input section (E) of the storage unit; transferring tubes (2) from the input section of the storage unit to the accumulation circuit; storing of a plurality of tubes (2) in accumulation circuit (AC); transferring tubes (2) from accumulation circuit (AC) to the output section. Step of transferring tubes (2) from the input section to the accumulating circuit includes a plurality of tubes (2) simultaneously, whereby a plurality of tubes (2) are transferred from said input section simultaneously to a plurality of surfaces (13) for storing accumulation circuit (AC).

EFFECT: probability of tube jamming in the storage unit is reduced.
