SUBSTANCE: invention relates to reception, handling, storage and shipping of hydrocarbon gases in a liquefied state. Multimodal terminal for reception, transshipment, preparation, storage and shipment of ethane and/or ethylene for subsequent transportation includes a mainland pipeline, an input distribution manifold, unit for initial preparation of liquefied low-pressure ethane and/or ethylene, an isothermal tank farm of liquefied low-pressure ethane and/or ethylene, unit for secondary preparation of liquefied cryogenic ethane and/or ethylene, an isothermal tank farm of liquefied cryogenic ethane and/or ethylene, purged gas preparation system, system for collecting and compressing boil-off gas, regasification unit for ethane and/or ethylene, dispensing system with an individual supply of liquefied low-pressure ethane and/or ethylene, liquefied cryogenic ethane and/or ethylene and purged gases into transport tankers-gas carriers and/or railway and/or truck tanks and a system of pipelines connecting blocks for preparation of liquefied ethane and/or ethylene, isothermal tank farms of liquefied ethane and/or ethylene, the mooring system and tankers-gas carriers and/or a railway branch, wherein liquefied low-pressure ethane and/or ethylene is fed to semi-pressure tankers-gas carriers and/or railroad and/or tank cars of a semi-pressure type, and liquefied cryogenic ethane and/or ethylene are supplied to tankers-gas carriers and/or to railroad and/or tankers of refrigerated type, input distribution manifold is configured to provide both receiving gaseous ethane and/or ethylene from the mainland pipeline to the terminal, and injection of ethane and/or ethylene regasified at the terminal into the mainland pipeline.

EFFECT: invention can be used to expand supply of ethane and/or ethylene to foreign consumers.
