FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to agriculture. Silicon fertilizer is made in the form of a mixture of a dry residue evenly distributed in polyethylene glycol with a content of polyethylene glycol of 20–50 % by weight based on the weight of the dry residue, where the dry residue contains mineral substances in a fine-dispersed state and in terms of elements contains in% by weight the dry residue: iron – 5–10; zinc 1–5; nitrogen 1–10; potassium 1–10; copper 1–5 and silicon – the rest, up to 100 %. Method of using silicon fertilizer is that the silicon fertilizer is diluted with water in a ratio of 1:500–1:2,000 by weight and sprayed with seeds or shoots until fully wetted.
EFFECT: inventions make it possible to increase the assimilability of the silicon fertilizer, to increase the economic efficiency of the application of the fertilizer, and also to provide unlimited storage periods with simultaneous enhancement of the effects of increased drought resistance, resistance to disease, increased germination of seeds, ensured acceleration of growth and germination of seeds, as well as increased yield and quality of finished products when spraying plant shoots.
