FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: turbomachine rotor blade comprises, at the distal end thereof, a shroud comprising a platform having a first edge on the pressure side and a second edge on the back side and a sealing ridge. Sealing ridge has a first end portion on the pressure side and a second end portion on the back side, wherein the vertex of the ridge is located radially outwardly from the platform between the first and second end portions. Shroud comprises, at the level of one of its edges, a portion forming a depression extending along the end portion of the ridge and configured to receive a coating of a wear-resistant material. Blade comprises a layer of wear-resistant material deposited by pouring a molten alloy into each depression. When applying a wear-resistant material to the turbomachine rotor blade, a blank of said turbomachine rotor blade is prepared. In each depression of the shroud of the blade, a layer of wear-resistant material is applied by filling with a molten alloy. Side walls of the depression protruding above the layer of applied wear-resistant material are machined.
EFFECT: group of inventions makes it possible to simplify the manufacture of a turbomachine rotor blade and reduce its weight.
