FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a process for producing distilled water and can be used in the food, chemical, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and energy industries for cleaning and desalting water, concentrating brines, water treatment and demineralization. Distiller consists of steam generator 1, external air supply fan 12, water pipes 23, 24, 25, 26, heat exchanger 10 and condenser 9. Steam generator 1 is made in the form of a vertical column inside of which jet-forming baths 2 with perforated bottoms with a gap from the walls of steam generator 1, one under the other, are arranged in several tiers, holes in which are made on the outwardly protruded vertices of cone-shaped bulges or in the form of tapering nozzles with outlets directed downward. In the upper part of steam generator 1 there is a branch pipe for evacuating steam-air flow 7 into condenser 9 and a branch pipe for supplying hot water-concentrate 6 from heat exchanger 10. In the bottom of steam generator 1 there is branch pipe for withdrawing the cooled concentrate 8 installed to concentrate circulation pump 11 connected by water pipe 23 to heat exchanger 10. Capacitor 9 is made of a multistage mixing type with a successive arrangement of steps one after the other horizontally. At the top of each stage there are the spray nozzles of distillate 14, and below them there are the circulation and collection pumps of the distillate 15. At the inlet to condenser 9, there is a nozzle for receiving steam-air mixture 16 from steam generator 1 and branch pipe for withdrawing hot distillate 17 to discharge pump 18 into heat exchanger 10. At the outlet of condenser 9, there is a supply pipe of cooled distillate 19 from heat exchanger 10 to nozzles 14 of last stage and outlet of the airflow to the atmosphere 20.
