FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shipbuilding, in particular to devices for mining from the ocean floor. Floating device for the extraction of bottom sediments is made in the form of a self-propelled single-hulled, preferred double-hulled vessel with a single deck. On the vessel is installed vertically in the spatial hinge guide tube with a power drive of its tilt. Inside the guide tube, a movable tube with a working platform at the upper end and a float at the bottom end is installed with the possibility of progressive and rotational movement. On the work site there is a drive mechanism of a chain conveyor with pulling and tensioning sprockets. In this case, the straight and reverse branches of the chain and the chain guides are passed inside the movable tube. Chain plates are made in the form of elongated coils of high-strength yarns wound on rigidly connected bushings of two adjacent chain hinges located near the ends of the chain rollers, while the ends of the rolls are located in the slots of the guides.
EFFECT: invention provides the possibility of lifting on board the vessel of mineral materials from great depths and in conditions of a troubled ocean.
