SUBSTANCE: cleaning device comprising a connector for connecting the cleaning device to the vacuum cleaner in such a way that the cleaning device is in fluid communication with the vacuum cleaner. Connector comprises an engaging portion and a latch member pivotally connected to the engaging portion such that the latch has a rotation axis X, the retainer comprising a push part located at a distance from the rotation axis X, and a locking member located on a portion of the latch extending from the rotation axis X to the pressing part. Locking device is configured to pivot from the first configuration when the push part is pressed, in which the locking member is in the engagement position to prevent the connector from being detached from the vacuum cleaner, into a second configuration, in which the locking member is in a disengaging position, in which the connector can be detached from the vacuum cleaner.
