FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cargo transportation in an aircraft and relates to the loading of cargo containers into an aircraft. Aircraft comprises an upper passenger compartment and a lower cargo compartment, separated by a floor. Crane system for the container of the cargo compartment of the aircraft comprises a crane assembly connected to a structural element of said cargo compartment beneath the floor and comprising a pair of lifting mechanisms. Lifting mechanisms are arranged to contact opposite sides of the cargo container to lift the container and for its longitudinal movement in the cargo compartment of the aircraft.
EFFECT: easier loading of the cargo compartment of aircraft, reduced weight of the aircraft.
