FIELD: mining; technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mineral beneficiation technology and can be used to pre-enrich the minerals after large or medium crushing as well as for batch sorting of the material after fine crushing. Radiometric separator contains a vibrating feeder for piecewise feeding pieces of ore for separation, a drum setter with cells corresponding to the size of the separated pieces and arranged evenly around the circumference of the drum, a source of penetrating (primary) radiation, located above the drum set and creating an irradiation strip across the motion of the pieces, a receiver of secondary radiation from the pieces, an electronic unit for the analysis of secondary radiation signals, which commands the actuator to extract useful pieces into the concentrate, electromagnet controlling the actuator, a concentrating hopper for receiving useful pieces and a tail bunker for receiving pieces of gangue. At each cell of the drum-type spreader, the bottom is made in the form of a tilting plate with two fixed positions, closed – in the irradiation zone and open – in the zone of allocation of useful pieces into the concentrate. Each cell executive mechanism is made in the form of a movable retainer holding the flip plate in the closed position in the irradiation zone and releasing it from fixation in the zone of allocation of useful pieces to the concentrate. Hopper of reception of useful pieces is located under a cell of a drum-type distributor in a zone of allocation of useful pieces and the roller located from the internal side of the panel, establishing folding plates in a starting position.
EFFECT: increase the efficiency of separation.
