FIELD: data processing.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to technologies supporting the infrastructure of computing operations in the data center. Method for distributing the infrastructure of a data center is proposed. For each particular type of infrastructure support system, of the many types of infrastructure support systems provided in the data center compartment, the installed capacity of supporting the infrastructure of a particular type of infrastructure support system is gradually adjusted, regardless of the installed capacity of supporting the infrastructure of the rest of the plurality of types. Next, one or more sets of infrastructure modules are gradually installed in the data center compartment, based at least in part on determining that the excess installed capacity of supporting the infrastructure of a particular type of infrastructure support system in the data center compartment is less than a certain threshold amount.
EFFECT: ensured expansion of the data center system by means of adding capacities of specific types of modules.
